About the Artist
An award-winning artist, Erin lives and works in the beautiful Blue Ridge Foothills of South Carolina. Her personal odyssey has led her to reside in more than a dozen states, and her work reflects wonders from the magnificent Northwest to the romantic Southwest and from the majestic Rocky Mountains to the Carolina Low Country. Her work is in collections, both public and private, in Europe and Asia as well as throughout the United States. She is the author of the best-selling ebook, Soft Pastel-The Ultimate Workshop. A step by step approach to learning the art os pastels.

Her Landscapes and Pastels embody a traditional excellence like those found in the world's finest museums and are truly prized by those fortunate enough to have one grace their home.

Erin’s love of animals is evident throughout much of her work. A breeder and trainer of German shepherds, she explores the relationship between humans and canines. Her portraits of dogs capture not only the physical likenesses but also the souls and spirits of her subjects. Similarly, Erin’s wildlife paintings of egrets, herons and other creatures bring wildlife painting into the arena of fine art. Her ability to capture the essence of all living creatures is also apparent in her portraits of humans, both adults and children. As an artist Erin seeks in portraiture the ever-elusive balance between the likeness of the subject and the expression of the artist.

She has been a exhibitor in many of the most prestigious juried exhibitions in the country, among them the Greenwich Village Show in New York—the oldest and most highly regarded show in the country. Erin is a member of the American Society of Portrait Artists , The American Pastel Society, The International Society of Pastel Artists and the Pastel Society of the Southeast, and her work can be seen in Greenville, South Carolina, at the Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville. She also offers Pastel Workshops at the Artists Guild Gallery in Greenville and througout the Southeast.

Erin is also the author of the best selling book, "Soft Pastel, The Ulimate Worlshop"
